Simple crochet flower

This is probably the easiest way to crochet a sakura-like flower

Abbreviations, UK terms (US terms)

MR - magic ring

dc - double crochet (sc)

htr - half treble crochet (hdc)

tr - treble crochet (dc)

Slst - slip stitch 

Start with MR

Round 1: work 5 dc into MR. Tighten the tail. 

Round 2: slst into the first dc, [htr, 2tr, htr] into the same stitch you just did slst to. *Slst into next, [htr, 2tr, htr] into the same stitch you just did slst to*, repeat * 4 times. Slst to the first slst you made, fasten off. 

First petal is made

Second petal is made

4 petals made

Almost done. 5 petals made. Now slst into the remaining stitch. 

All done! Your flower is ready!
