No Sew Mini Pig Crochet Pattern by @HLMCrochet

Materials:
Pattern has been designed using Chunky Chenille Yarn, however you can use any yarn and adjust the hook size
Black and White 4 ply weight yarn for eye and nose details I use Drops Safran
5mm hook
12-14 mm safety eyes or 16 mm sinker safety eyes
Stuffing
Scissors
Needle
Recommended: stitch markers
Suggested Colours - Light Pink and Dark Pink


Information:
Please note, the arms are crocheted to the body, make the arms first, then the legs.

Abberviations (US Terms):

mr - Magic Ring
sc - Single Crochet
hdc - Half Double Crochet
dc - Double Crochet
tr - Treble Crochet
slst - Slip Stitch
(....) x# - repeat stitches in bracket total of times stated
[...] - all stitches in same stitch
Inc - Single Crochet Increase
Dec - Invisible Decrease
R# - Round number

sc2tog - Two Single Crochet together

Pattern

Arms (make 2) in Light Pink:

The arms do not need to be stuffed.
1. MR 6 sc
2-4. 6 sc (3 rounds)
Fold the sides together and close with 3 sc FO leave a short tail as the arms are crocheted to the body.

Legs (make 2, fasten off first leg but NOT second leg) starting in Dark Pink:

1. MR 8 sc
2. 8 sc CC to Light Pink FO Dark Pink
3. 7 sc, sc2tog (8)FO first leg with a slst, PM here for later when attaching the legs, add a little stuffing then move on to the body with second leg still on the hook


Body and Head in Light Pink:

4. Ch 2, attach first leg with a sc where you PM on the first leg, 6 sc, sc2tog, 2 sc into the back bumps of the chain 2, sc2tog, 7 sc, 2 sc into the front of the chain *this is your new start of the round pm here* (20)
5. (3 sc, inc) x5 (25)
6-8. 25 sc (3 rounds)
9. (3 sc, dec) x5 (20)
10. (dec, 2 sc) x5 (15)
Arms are added in the next round, the position of the arms may need to be adjusted due to tension and yarn differences
11. 2 sc, 3 sc with first arm, 5 sc, 3 sc with second arm, 2 sc (15)
Start stuffing here
12. 7 dec, sc (8)
13. FLO inc x8 (16)
14. (sc, inc) x8 (24)
Cheeks are created in the next 3 rounds - the cheeks are positioned to the right and left of the head, you may need to adjust placement of the increases due to tension or yarn differences
15. 4 sc, FLO inc x2, 10 sc, FLO inc x2, 6 sc (28)
You will create a ch sp in the next round for the nose, the nose should be central to the face, the ch sp may need to be changed due to tension and yarn differences
16. 4 sc, FLO sc x4, 3 sc, ch 4, sk 4 sc, 3 sc, FLO sc x4, 6 sc (28) PM in 1st skipped stitch
17. 4 sc, 2 dec, 3 sc, 4 blo sc, 3 sc, 2 dec, 6 sc (24)
18. 24 sc
19. (sc, dec) x8 (16)
If using safety eyes, place eyes between R17 & 18 with 3-4 visible stitches in between and finish stuffing
20. 8 dec
FO and close the hole using the FLO from R20

Nose in Dark Pink:

Attach yarn with a slst where you placed the PM on R16
1. Place 4 sc into the 4 skipped stitches in R4, place 2 sc into side of the row, as shown in photo below, 4 sc into the back of the chain created in R4, 2 sc into the second side (12)
2. 6 dec


Add a little stuffing, FO and close the hole using the FLO from R2

Ears in Light Pink:

The ears are surface crocheted to the head, the stitches are the same for each ear, however how you hold the animal to create them differs.

Right ear when animal is facing you:
1. With the eyes facing to your left, attach the yarn between R17 & 18 (3-4 visible stitches from the eye) with a slst, Ch 2, slst between R19 & 20, Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), turn
All of R2 are placed into the space between the chain and the head.
2. Sc, hdc, Ch 2, slst into 1st st on hook, hdc, sc, slst into the starting slst between R17 & 18. FO and weave in tails.

Left ear when animal is facing you:
1. With the eyes facing to your right, attach the yarn between R17 & 18 (3-4 visible stitches from the eye) with a slst, Ch 2, slst between R19 & 20, Ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), turn
All of R2 are placed into the space between the chain and the head.
2. Sc, hdc, Ch 2, slst into 1st st on hook, hdc, sc, slst into the starting slst between R17 & 18. 
FO and weave in tails.

Tail in Dark Pink:

Insert your hook into R7 centred to the back and slst, Ch 6, inc in each chain starting from the second chain from the hook, slst into starting st and FO and weave in tails (10)

Finishing Touches:
Add embroidery detail for the nose.
